In danger, call 112. Stillwatch is not an emergency service. · Po polsku

Why didn't I get an alert about something I saw in the news?

Stillwatch speaks up only when something needs action near you or your saved places. Many news stories need no action, so we stay quiet. At night only threats confirmed by police or emergency services can wake you; info alerts wait until morning. If you think we missed something important, tell us which event and when.

What does "unconfirmed" mean?

Every alert says who confirmed it. Confirmed means police, the fire service or another official service. Reported by newsrooms means at least two independent local media. Unconfirmed means only one source so far. Unconfirmed reports are never sent as critical alerts.

Why did an alert sound when my phone was on silent?

That was a critical alert. We use them only for threats to people near your places, after police or emergency services have confirmed them. You can turn critical alerts off in iOS Settings, under Notifications, Stillwatch.

I'm not getting any alerts.

Check that notifications are on in iOS Settings, under Notifications, Stillwatch, and that a Focus mode doesn't block them. The app's home screen also tells you if notifications are off or updates are delayed. If everything is on, it may simply be quiet near you, which is the normal state.

Does Stillwatch know where I am?

No. Your phone sends us only the name of your city. The places you save stay on your phone, and your phone decides on its own whether an alert is near them.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, open Settings and choose Remove places and reset. This deletes your places, history and settings on your phone and, in the same step, the notification token we keep on our side with your city and language. Removing the app deletes everything on your phone; the token is then deleted when Apple reports it invalid, or after 3 months without activity.

An alert was wrong.

Thank you for telling us. When a source corrects itself, we send a correction in the same alert. Write to us with the time of the alert and what was wrong; we check every report.

Is Stillwatch official? Does it replace 112 or Alert RCB?

No. Stillwatch is an independent app that reads public sources. It does not replace 112 or Alert RCB. In danger, call 112.

Is it on Android or in other cities?

For now only on iPhone and only in Kraków. If you are outside Kraków, the app tells you once when your city is covered.

How much does it cost?

Stillwatch is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.

Przy każdym alercie widać, kto go potwierdził.

W aplikacji otwórz Ustawienia i wybierz Usuń miejsca i zresetuj.
